Why is Yahoo emailing people to upgrade to IE 8, but telling them not to on their website?



Yahoo is emailing their patrons encouraging them to upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 8. Then, on the Yahoo Games website, they are suggesting that you NOT upgrade to IE 8 because most of the game won’t work.

Any idea why the double standard?

    Probably because they just realized that IE8 is not compatible with their games or that people have report there being a problem.
