SHOULD WE ASK FOR HIS RESIGNATION BY EMAILING OUR REPRESENTATIVES?
THOUGHTS FROM MY FELLOW AMERICANS?
As chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Frank sits at the center of power in Washington.
- Frank has collected tens of thousands of dollars from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in campaign contributions - $42,350 since 1989. Also, Frank’s former boyfriend, Herb Moses, was an executive at Fannie Mae from 1991 to 1998, where he “helped develop many of Fannie Mae’s affordable housing and home improvement lending programs.”
- The Boston Globe reported that Frank pushed the agency to loosen regulations on mortgages for two- and three-family homes, even though they were defaulting at twice and five times the rate of single homes, respectively.”
- Rupert R. Murdoch has repeatedly pointed blame at Frank and a few others as the root cause of the recent housing crisis.
- In 2003 Frank rejected Bush administration proposals for increased oversight of the mortgage lending industry and stated “These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis, the more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”
- BOSTON (AP) - Rep. Barney Frank said Monday that Republican criticism of Democrats over the nation’s housing crisis is a veiled attack on the poor that’s racially motivated.

Only people with a sense of honor and shame resign.
That means that Democrats don’t resign.

Not just him but all the major CEO’s in America.
Interesting servay said that 9% of Americans say that the current economic situation is ok. Hmmm I wonder who that could be. How about the 9% of richest americans in the U.S. They sit on there billions and millions of dollars and DONT SPEND!
The answer to all of this as the FED congress and Bush/Obama/McCain say is to pump more money into the system.
So… If that happens inflation rises and the rich just keep saving the money that we keep spending on there products.
The answer to solve this is to not just make sure our elected officials waste money (taxes) but that they re-distribute the super rich’s wealth to everyday people! PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SPEND MONEY! That’s how you fix the economy.
I for one would like to change things if anyone reads this and wants to communicate and maybe talk more E-mail me at I would like to try and stage a protest and maybe more in DC but I cant do it myself!!! I need the help of everyday american citizens who want change people like you reading this!
