Emailing

New is not working prperly, and font colours are not being initialized
Come off it! This ought to be a five minute problem for someone who knows the software.

im working in c# im using gmail smtp server for sending emails from my application but im unable to send mails to yahoo account where as mails sent to gmail account are delivered… y is this so????

This morning I discovered that someone has apparently broadcast a commercial email (spam?) from what appears to be my yahoo account, and to my address book. (This message is “from” me! Only I never sent it and am not associated with it in any way!)
I checked with GoDaddy WhoIs and the originator appears to be in another state.
How on earth could this happen, and what should I do about it?
Also, my “sent messages” have been deleted. If anyone has any thoughts on this, please let me know ASAP! Much Thanks!

Server Type: SMTP
Server Configuration: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Use Secure Connection: SSL encryption
Type: Login

When I click on Check for Supported types it returns the error message: “Host lookup failed: smtp.mail.yahoo.com: Name or service not known”

POP works fine and I can receive email but can’t send it. SMTP settings don’t work.

Has anyone had success setting up Evolution email to work with their Yahoo email service?

I am trying to create a short simple form in the body of my email. I am using check boxes so that the recipients can fill out the form by “checking” their response. I am able to create the email form, but when it is received the check boxes have dissapeared. I tested it by sending it to myself and it also doesn’t work. Any ideas on what is happening? I don’t want to send it as a seperate attachment.

Yahoo group moderator

This has been happening for a few months now. I am unable to send Email. A pop-up tells me that Yahoo server cannot be found and unable to send message/Email. This also finds its way to my inbox and leaves six messages that state the same thing - Email not sent. I have tried everything I know to find a current Email address for Yahoo, but to no avail. I need help please.

Everytime I try to send email, it asks me for a verification by filling in the alphanumeric characters I see into the box below them, but it will not let my cursor get access to the box. I have gone to the alternate site (http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail) but my recipients do not appear to be getting my email messages. Can you help?

Eaxh time I go to send an email I am shown a box with code letters that I must type exactly before I can send the email. I don’t get it, I get this code every time not just once in a while. I have other yahoo friends who send emails without having to do this every time. GRRRRR it’s sooooo annoying.

People send me email but half of them are bouncing and even I tried to send email to my yahoo email box but some of them bounced. I can’t understand the problem and I tried to contact yahoo but of no help. Could someone help me as this email is with me since many years. The last alternative is that I move to gmail.

I have activated my account, and on occasion I am able to send email, but most of the time the emails are not successfully sent. They do not bounce back or anything. I am able to receive email, most of the time, but that too is not reliable at all.

I did create another email address through yahoo that goes to my account, so I have two email addresses for the same account, both are through yahoo.
