Emailing

I get 3 to 5 letters a day from people who I’m sure are envelope stuffers offering ways to get rich over night. I’ve gotten a hundred different ones but about half of what I’ve gotten has been the exact same letter. How do I find out what mailing list I am on and how to get off of it??
Ps - I am talking about snail mail, not email.

I want to start attending timeshare presentations and see what they are all about. How do I find out abotu them? How do I get on a mailing list? Does anyone know of any websites? Thank you!

We have an old e-mail mailing list that we acquired when we purchased a new company and want to clean it before we go about sending out a new e-mail marketing campaign. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are a mid-sized business growing our customer base. Our emails range from customer assistance to product promotions.

We need to be able to send approximately 40,000 to 60,000 emails a month. We prefer to be able to update our own customer and prospect databases with the opt in and opt out information rather than duplicating the data from our service. And we would like to handle opt-outs per list type, (opting out of product promotions does not stop the regular newsletter, and opting out of the newsletter does not opt the client from service notices.)

If so, why is it legal to purchase mailing lists with the intention to send out mass mailings and make telemarketing campaigns? Will someone please help me with the legalities of this practice? I have been researching it for days. Laws regarding email and electronic spam are very clear, but snail mail is much fuzzier.

I need a software that will allow me to send emails to client lists. Emails would be of the nature of newsletters, survey invitations and that sort of thing.

Ideally, it would be an ASP/Web type solution that would be hosted online so that people at various offices could access it.

Do you have any suggestions/recommendations? Do you know any sights that offer reviews of such products/services?
