What to say when emailing my resume?



I’m sending a company my resume in hopes of receiving a sumer internship, which was recommended by someone the person receiving the email knows.

I’ve never done this before so what should i put in the email? i’m going to attach my resume only so i’ll have to write a few sentences in the actual email. and what should i put as the subject? Thanks everybody!
i’m just looking for a few sentences to put in an email, and was wanting to mention that (guy) suggested to me to email the recipient my email.
