I have my resume saved the way I like it, but when I go to email it the format is all messed up. It runs together and it looks crazy.

yep do as christy says and most jobs give you an option of emailing a resume. you could always email it as an attachment. it works best
    good luck

Always send your resume as an attachment, unless otherwise noted. .doc extensions are the most used. It is also a good idea to keep a simple text (not Enriched) version that you can copy and paste to the email directly when you are not allowed to send attachments or when pasting onto a website.

The best way to do is to save your Resume in a file and send it as an attachment.

If you want your resume to look exactly like you have it, you will need to send it as an attachment. (When you compose an email go to Attach–>File).

However, many companies and employment services do not let you send resume as an attachment. Instead, you need to copy & paste it in. This is where you can get in trouble with formatting.

To avoid these formatting problems, you’ll need to format your resume as a “text” file, which means that you can only use plain text and no formatting. There are several guides online that can give you tips on creating your resume in a plain-text format. I linked one of them below.

    Good luck!.
